Cultural differences exist in each workplace environment and audiologists need to be flexible. Half of all audiologists work in the offices of physicians or health practitioners, in hospitals and outpatient care centres. Around 20% of audiologists work in education both in primary and secondary schools with the balance involved in research and development and state and local governments.
