Career Path Options

As this is an industry that will experience rapid technological change, those with experience need to have the ability to meet the demands of this flexible yet challenging and rewarding career. Qualified electricians may choose to further specialise into areas such as High Voltage work or Solar and alternative energies.  After some time in the job, electricians can advance into management roles, including project management. 

One of the aspects of electrical work that appeals to some electricians is the opportunity to establish a company and be self employed.
