The Bottom Line

This is a career not for the faint-hearted. It requires dedication, rotational shift work, exposure to emotionally draining situations and hard work. But your contribution to society is enormous, appreciated and acknowledged by others. The high flexibility of specialization and opportunity to work overseas are all good. Nursing is a labour of love; you don’t do it for the money.
