There is no set qualification for a Production Manager; however an undergraduate degree in a relevant course will be highly beneficial for your employment prospects. Useful degrees to undertake include a Bachelor of Business or Commerce, successfully completing majors in Business Management, Business Studies, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Industrial Technology. It can also be useful to have a postgraduate degree.
Those universities with the highest entry score of 85+ to a Bachelor of Business or Commerce undergraduate degree include the University of Melbourne, Australian National University, Monash University, the University of Sydney, University of New South Wales, University of Technology, Sydney, and the University of Western Australia.
Other universities that offer relevant majors are: University of Canberra, Charles Sturt University, Deakin University, Queensland University of Technology, University of Queensland, RMIT, and University of Tasmania.
