The more prominent private firms are: SKM Consulting, AAMHatch, Whelans InSites, Conics Limited, LandPartners, Connell Wagner, Hard & Forester.
Government: The relevant Departments of Lands, Commerce, Transport, Railways and Water in each state and territory all employ surveyors. At a federal government level, Geoscience Australia employs geodetic surveyors. All local councils also employ surveyors.
