Career Options available

The career options are as varied as the agencies that offer web design. From a Junior role you can expand your knowledge of the web and online media with such things as usability (the study of how users interact with a site and the best ways to offer them functionality and content), front end coding such as CSS stylesheets or java to the more advanced backend programming languages.
Learning animation and scripting programs such as Flash or Silverlight also increase your desirability and earning potential.

Web designers can work in such fields as interaction design, interface design, online gaming, educational software, corporate design, and advertising in short, in any working environment that requires a visual online presence.
